This post is a little different.
A couple of weeks ago, I asked my subscribers if they have a website to give me the URL and I would give a free review. I believe I can help people build a good website given my many years managing Islamic Learning Materials.
One of the many responses was from a Muslim sister who created a blog about the death of her son. I was very touched by the things she wrote and how she was dealing with her tragedy.
Even though I wanted to make the website reviews public, I decided at the time not to make hers public due to the private nature of the subject.
Therefore, I created a password protected page that only she and I could access and included my response. My response includes my thoughts on her tragedy as well as some website suggestions.
However, recently the sister contacted and asked that I make my response public for others who may be dealing with a similar tragedy.
Tragedy and trials are a part of life. It is something ordained by Allah’s decree (Qadr). We will all deal with similar tragedies at some point in our lives.
Hence, below is the original recording I made for her with no edits as well.
As-Salaamu Alaikum Sister,
Please listen to the recording I gave in response to your email. If you have any questions, you can email me back or leave a comment on this page.
May Allah make it easy for you, and Allah is the source of all strength.
